MyBlinkxTV Flips The Switch; Weds Video Search With Viewing

Loading brings up 100 tiny video screens arrayed 10X10, some moving, others static. Mouse over and the moving screens burst into action, expanding slightly in size and adding volume to the pictures. You can watch the whole Flash clip in thumbnail size or click and with only a slight delay see a list of other videos that might meet the search terms. You can shift search results from date to relevance on a sliding scale and you can opt for safe search or all web. It’s rapid, already including video from Bloomberg and CNN on Harriet Miers as the new Supreme Court nominee, but this still as beta as it gets — the dates on those videos show up as March 10, 2005 with the wrong times. The news selection in the 10X10 is not all current and the search terms can be a little odd.
