The Director of Business Development will be responsible for identification of new partners, development of business proposals, contract negotiations and closing deals. —- agreements with Service Providers whose products fit into the overall AllBusiness offering
—- advertising agreements for the site and the newsletter program
—- marketing partnership agreements
—- partnerships for our Platinum Program
—- agreements with content providers
— Research companies that offer products to the small business market
— Prioritize overall Business Development efforts to ensure that time and resources are spent on initiatives with highest probability of significant benefit for the company.
— Develop a pipeline in various other revenue generating areas
— Manage existing business development relationships
–This executive will be an innovative and creative Business Development executive with 3-5+ years of business development experience, specifically negotiating and closing partnership opportunities for an Internet company. Experience in developing partnerships and marketing programs in a business-business driven organization is a big plus!
–He/She should have a demonstrated track record of success in developing partner and channel strategies to support rapid business growth
–Experience creating target lists, negotiating and closing deals with 3rd parties, specifically with advertisers and companies offering Products and Services on the Internet
–Understanding of the current Internet landscape and how partnerships are being structured in the online marketplace
–The ability to identify key partners and sell AllBusiness as a business partner
–Background working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting is a big plus!
–Excellent communication skills and strong team player. Ability to build relationships and work effectively with a variety of Partners at senior levels
–Ability to use good judgment and work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Capable of juggling multiple Partner efforts.
–Resourceful. Hands on and highly accessible.
