Wieden + Kennedy, an independently owned advertising agency located in Portland, Oregon is recruiting for an experienced Interactive Producer.

The Interactive Producer is responsible for translating creative ideas and concepts into deliverables with a prioritized project plan for the internet, mobile, and related content applications. Responsible for overall project success, from project kick-off through completion.
Specifically, the Interactive Producer:
— Leads a multi-disciplinary team of interactive designers, programmers, content
producers, and testers, ensuring that team members fulfill their responsibilities while staying within budget and schedule parameters.
— Is accountable to deliver multiple, often concurrent projects: error free, on time, on or under budget, all while meeting or exceeding creative objectives and expectations.
— Works closely with the creative team, content management department, and client to define project requirements, develop timeline and budget, identify technical considerations, determine all resource requirements, and designate areas of responsibility among interactive team.
— Develops a detailed project schedule, manages project scope, documents change requests, facilitates project meetings, reviews all project deliverables for quality and accuracy, maintains project documentation, communicates project status, and identifies project risk.
— Works with creatives and interactive studio to determine overall look and feel for sites/content/advertising including architecture and navigation, back-end integration and content development.
— Works with the Interactive Studio and Art Director to identify art production needs and communicate production requirements for all deliverables. Responsible for ensuring accuracy and quality of all released work: to include testing of functionality, cross-platform/browser requirements, etc.
— Evaluates and negotiates with appropriate vendors/partners for creative/project solutions.
— Tracks and reports on website usage. Coordinates URL registration and search engine optimization. Solicits feedback on the customer experience.
— At least 5 years experience as an Interactive Producer managing simultaneous projects and demonstrated team leadership abilities in a recognized, fast-paced agency, marketing, or creative services environment.
— Demonstrated understanding of Internet/New Media project development process from requirements gathering to release.
— Demonstrated understanding of web and related technologies. Must have integration (database or technical) experience, content management systems experience a plus.
— Experience managing projects with the following Internet technologies and production software: HTML (including tables and frames), ASP, DHTML, XML, and Flash.
— Bachelors degree preferred.
— Basic HTML skills with hands-on development experience a plus.
— Ability to research and define new interactive tools and opportunities both in and outside the web.
— Ability to interact with internal and external clients at a variety of levels and across functions.
— Experience in project scheduling and resource/time estimating.
— Video production or related background a plus.
