AOL Plans Premium Download Service: I am not really sure if there’s much new in this..AOL has been rolling out its video service over the last year or so, as we have heavily covered, and this story says that the portal is planning to launch a pay-for-download video service by the end of the year. The company has been talking to broadcast and cable networks about allowing their content on its site, as expected.

Kevin Conroy, AOL’s executive in charge of video strategy, said AOL will allow downloads to PCs and would like to enable people to use its service to interact with Apple’s iTunes site if Apple will permit it.
