Australian EPG Firm IceTV To Go For $3 Million Listing

IceTV, Australia’s biggest supplier of electronic program guide software for free-to-air TV, is seeking to raise about $3 million with a stock market listing, to help it build a base. The company has 1500 subscribers (that’s what the story says..that seems very low…could be wrong) to its EPG, called IceGuide, which allows users to record more than one TV show at once and pause live TV. It has also established partnerships with a number of DVR and media centre providers, including Toshiba, HP and Pioneer Computing.
IceTV will launch a personal media planner next month, which would allow subscribers to program their DVR from mobile phones or internet browsers.
