Motorola Ties Up With Soundbuzz To Promote RAZR E2 In Singapore

In a move that is reminiscent of, but not exactly like, the iTunes-Motorola tie up, Motorola has announced a music download campaign with Soundbuzz in Singapore. The service will be rolled out with the launch of Motorola’s ROKR E2 in Singapore, expected next week. Buyers get a free download redemption card with each ROKR E2. Songs can be downloaded from Soundbuzz’ Singapore website and transferred to the phone via bluetooth or a USB 2.0 port. The ROKR E2 has 2 GB space and three buttons on the side of the phone for playing and navigating the playlist. Unlike when the ROKR was launched with iTunes in the US, with a limit of 100 songs, the ROCKR E2 “allows” upto 500 songs. The Soundbuzz site features a Motorola live-promo (screen cap), with several sponsored playlists. The Motorola site also features a promo, which, in all honesty, looks cooler than the phone.
