Dentsu India Plans Digital Arm, Ad Inventory Portal

Dentsu India, a leading ad agency in India, plans to launch Dentsu Digital, its interactive and mobile media division, reports Business Standard. They are expected to see light of day in the next few months. It also plans to set up an ad inventory portal which will buy and sell commercial airtime. The portal is called lastminuteinventory.com. The site is currently under construction. The offshoot of Japanese agency, which currently has a billing of Rs 525 crore, is also looking to acquire a mid-sized research company, besides “a small design shop”.
Dentsu India is run by Sandeep Goyal, who was earlier COO of Rediff and CEO of Zee Telefilms.
It has clients like Toyota, Honda, Canon, and Yamaha, besides Indian brands like Raymond Apparel, Tata Tea, Rasna, Amrutanjan, Pass Pass, Jaypee, Jindal, HCC, Biocon.
