Launched: Truston to prevent ID theft

If you have been a victim of identity theft, then you know it can be a harrowing experience. Tom Fragala, founder of Santa Barbara, Calif.-based Truston, has first hand experience and that is one of the main reason he co-founded MyTruston, a service that helps you manage the pain of ID Theft.

The 10-person company is backed by three angels – cofounders of – thought Fragala doesn’t want to give out the details. The service launched today, and received 4 out of 5 stars from PC Magazine. Competitors include TrustedID, Intersections and Lifelock.
