Now there is word that Comcast might be getting its jets warmed up. The City A.M. (PDF via Cable360) reports that Comcast is one of the 11 groups interested in Virgin Media (formerly known as NTL Telewest.) Time Warner Cable, KKR and a bunch of private equity guys are sniffing around, the report says. No word on the price just yet.
