Comcast (NSDQ: CMCSA) Interactive Media, the unit that runs the cable company’s websites, has named Scott Bailey SVP and GM of Comcast.net, the portal for Comcast’s 12.4 million subs. Bailey held the same title at Turner Sports Interactive, where he oversaw a number of sites, including NASCAR.com, PGATOUR.com and PGA.com. Release

News Corp.: Gary Ginsberg has added head of global marketing to his current responsibilities as EVP-investor relations and corporate communication. The new EVP-global marketing and corporate affairs also has been appointed to the company’s top leadership team, the Office of the Chairman. For the record, the other members are chairman and CEO Rupert Murdoch, president and COO Peter Chernin, CFO David DeVoe, General Counsel Lon Jacobs, Deputy CFO John Nallen, and Roger Ailes, chairman of FNC/FBC, Fox Television Stations and Twentieth Television.
