Today in Mobile

Nokia took the wraps off a few gadgets at Nokia World in Stuttgart, Germany, today, including its new Booklet 3G netbook and the N97 Mini, a compact version of its high-end flagship device. And the company seems to be moving the right direction with Lifecasting with Ovi, a service that allows Facebook users to update their status from the phone’s home screen. Unless Nokia can secure a U.S. carrier partner or two to subsidize the hardware, though, the devices will be priced far above the competition’s offerings.
