Atlantic Media’s Bradley Hands Stake In Research Firm To National Journal’s Clark

Atlantic Media Company Chairman David Bradley (pictured) is selling his interest in Potomac Research Group (PRG), an investor research firm he launched in 2008, to Suzanne Clark, the president of Atlantic’s National Journal. In turn, Clark, who’s been at the head of National Journal for three years, will step down from her role at the magazine next month to become CEO of PRG, which she helped start with Bradley. Terms of the sale weren’t disclosed.

Bradley says he wants to focus more on his media holdings, which include the company’s flagship, The Atlantic Monthly. In making that decision, he offered Clark a first right of refusal to acquire PRG. Justin Smith, currently president of Atlantic Consumer Media, will assume Clark
