It appears that Macmillan and Amazon have settled their dispute over e-book prices. Macmillan hardcover and paperback titles returned to Amazon’s virtual shelves over the weekend and e-book, now sporting higher retail prices, are expected to return in March, to coincide with the debut of Apple’s iPad. Meanwhile, publishers aren’t the only manufacturers seeking to fix retail prices online. Thanks to the Supreme Court, everyone can now do it.
