Where to Watch E3 2010 Online

Are you a hardcore gamer that wasn’t able to make it out to Los Angeles or score passes to this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo? Well have no fear, because IGN has teamed up with YouTube (s GOOG) to stream live coverage of all the expo’s major happenings.

Beginning today, the live stream, which can be found at youtube.com/E3, will include video from all the major press events, including those being held by Sony (s SNE), Microsoft (s MSFT), Nintendo, Electronics Arts (s erts) and Ubisoft. It will also have live coverage of E3 from within the IGN booth at the expo center, including game demos and interviews with industry players. In addition to the live coverage, viewers will be able to watch archived content from the event on a dedicated website at e3.ign.com/, which will feature game previews, show predictions, a full list of games shown at the expo and IGN’s official E3 FAQ.

This will be the first time YouTube will have live coverage of E3, as part of its move to stream more events, which have to date included the State of the Union Address, the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival and the Indian Premier League Championship. And there are indications that YouTube could expand its live streaming capabilities further, possibly opening up the service to more partners.
