Netflix may have 80 employees on the hunt for good content, but even this army can’t pry Curb or Entourage from HBO’s hands. I can’t understand why Netflix thinks HBO would want to offer up the goods, given how HBO’s whole business is built upon exclusivity and a premium strategy. Not only that, they’ve already made clear their own plans for Internet based VOD apps. Still never say never as everyone has their price, even though Netflix recent bet on Epix content probably precludes them signing another mega-deal soon.
