Alcatel-Lucent’s acquisition of cross-platform developer toolkit maker OpenPlug is mostly about mobile, but it blends nicely into a budding ecosystem with a prior acquisition, ProgrammableWeb, the content site for mostly web-based social media APIs and mashup techniques.
