Industry Moves: Zillow; About; ADA;; New York Times

Zillow: Co-founder Rich Barton is stepping down as CEO, reports TechFlash. Barton will remain executive chairman while his day-to-day chief executive responsibilities will be handed to COO Spencer Rascoff. Co-founder and President Lloyd Frink moves on to chief strategy officer. Barton says he’ll continue to start up new companies and serve as a venture partner at Benchmark Capital.

The About Group: SVP and CFO Darline Jean is now adding the new position of COO to her existing duties. She first joined the company in 2003 and was instrumental in’s sale to The New York Times Company (NYSE: NYT). Earlier in her career, she spent 12 years at Thomson Media where she was director of financial planning and analysis.

Alternative Distribution Alliance: David Orleans succeeds Mitchell Wolk as president and CEO of the indie music arm of Warner Music Group (NYSE: WMG). Orleans will continue to report to Mike Jbara, president and CEO of WEA, WMG
