Is the amazing growth for Redbox starting to plateau?  That’s one way you could interpret their recent quarterly returns.  It seems the company is beginning to feel the impact of longer release windows negotiated Hollywood.  It seems that the company needs a digital strategy more than ever, since the combo of cheap $1 proximity rentals and digital streaming could be a powerful combo, even if it doesn’t address the larger problem Redbox (and Netflix) will face around extended release windows being pushed by Hollywood.
