Somewhat lost in all the excitement over Netflix’s self-immolation this week is some pretty interesting speculation about just what Facebook has up its sleeve for f8 on Thursday. Rumors say to expect a “huge makeover” of the social network, including the introduction of a music and video “ticker” and new partnerships with leading music streaming services. One big question is how far Facebook will go in promoting HTML 5 for media apps as an alternative to Apple and Android.
