FoundersCard networking events set for SXSW and CES

FoundersCard, a membership community for entrepreneurs and innovators, just announced two new networking events in Austin, Texas, during SXSW and in Las Vegas during CES. The SXSW event will be held at the W Austin, and the CES event will be held at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Las Vegas.

Eric Kuhn came up with the idea for FoundersCard two years ago after having enjoyed considerable startup success as the founder and CEO of Varsity Books, the first online marketplace for college textbooks. Following Varsity Books, Kuhn gravitated toward the idea of providing exclusive benefits and networking opportunities to entrepreneurs. Determined to support and reward entrepreneurs for being the risk takers and value creators to the economy, he launched FoundersCard.

FoundersCard offers members exclusive travel, lifestyle and business benefits from the world’s hottest brands. Among the companies offering benefits are American Airlines, W Hotels, Equinox Fitness, Virgin Atlantic Airways and John Varvatos. Members are also encouraged to create offerings from their own companies exclusively for other members. Benefits created by members include Wine Library, HotelTonight, Threadless and MOO.

FoundersCard also hosts members-only networking events on a regular basis. These events are attended by hundreds of members who relish the opportunity to meet with and learn from other innovators.
