Research In Motion is making headlines again today, with The Globe and Mail outlining how executives are taking a beating at an annual general meeting and Bloomberg reporting the company will sell one of its two corporate jets in an effort to save $1 billion in operating costs. But the company has wisely set aside $100 million to grow developer support for BlackBerry 10, which is expected to finally come to market early next year. It will have taken RIM far too long to get BlackBerry 10 out the door, so when it does arrive it would help immensely if it came with a decent selection of apps.
