Speakers finalized for PDX, Portland’s tech and music conference

The final list of speakers has been approved for the Portland Digital Experience in early September, which will be held alongside the MNFW festival in the Rose City and focus on some of the latest trends in mobile, social, and digital content in between trips out to Pine State Biscuits.

It might sound a little like SXSW, and while Oregon and Texas don’t have a lot in common at first glance, both Portland and Austin are home to vibrant music scenes and a host of startups and bigger technology companies that are helping define the future of media, entertainment, and personal computing. PDX, which features speakers such as Tumblr’s Andrew McLaughlin and Flipboard co-founder Evan Doll, will also look to showcase Portland’s thriving tech and music culture through a series of interesting panels, according to conference organizer Rick Turoczy, who also runs the Portland Incubator Experiment and the Silicon Florist blog.

I’ll be moderating a panel during the festivities, which run September 5th through the 8th. Tickets and more information can be found here, and here’s a final, exclusive list of the confirmed speakers for the event. See you in Portland!
