Podcast: What the next few years hold for the internet of things

As we’ve recently discussed at GigaOM Research (subscription required), there is currently no standard definition for the internet of things. As this technology evolves, enabling more and more connectivity in our daily lives, we can expect to see a standard definition emerge, along with a number of challenges to be overcome. Show host Adam Lesser sits down with analyst Jon Collins to discuss what the internet of things is, why it matters, and how it will change over the next few years.
