The Huffington Post will launch in Germany this fall. The company has already expanded to Canada, the U.K., France, Spain and Italy, and a Japanese edition will roll out May 7.
Huffington Post has a new CEO who will be tasked with building traffic and revenue and continuing the brand’s international expansion. The move comes at a time when parent company AOL appears to have figured out how to manage its media properties.
AOL is getting investor interest for taking Huffington Post off its hands. But the pair are fixed on taking Arianna and TechCrunch worldwide. Next up is Japan, nine other launches and a possible UK newspaper tie-up.
